Mexico City Series (3), this particular flower is used in the Day of the Dead festivals in Mexico, with important emotions cast onto the flower, the Gladiolus is also used in Otomi fabric art. Found in Mercado Jamaica, a flower metropolis in Mexico City that is meaningful to me as I went often as a child, and took my daughter for the first time this summer. Exploring and including other emotional devotional pathways on flowers, to inform my own devotional path.
