I made these works in August 2024.during an artist residency at Ceramica Suro, in Guadalajara Mexico, a

Tabachín flower, also commonly called the Royal Poinciana, flamboyant tree, or flame tree, this one grows around Guadalajara Mexico, and one in front of the house I stay at when I am in Guadalajara, brimming with hummingbirds. Cryptochromes is a protein sensitive to the amount of blue light in the days light and governs the full cycle of the daily, monthly and yearly circadian rhythm of the plants full potential
