ephemera and motherhood

The colors are in conversation, like creating moments when feelings are reflected, as if color and mood were a diary, a reflection of events- this is the tone of my life as lived when I painted this work; a long running series of collecting colors to tell a story in the grid. This painting is reflecting my life as- also- a stay at home mother- chosen lovingly-but so many moments are tedious and small, also at the same time extremely important and irreproducible. You see no one is around to bear witness to all the small gestures.
