last month I curated an art event, one day only @s last month I curated an art event, one day only @sangamretreat and it was a lot of fun, I showed my work of grids and UV paintings and plates I made at @ceramicasuro and my talented artist friends @_r_s_m_ @kathryneddy1 let me show their work, as well including a short award winning film by @paul_hugins 🤘🏽 I am doing another one off event December 15, 2-5pm @sangamretreat still hammering out artist collaborators but come by, I will have a blueberry pie to share 🩷🩷🩷 thank you for following along as I do my best at winging it

some of the 130+ tiles I hand painted in August @c some of the 130+ tiles I hand painted in August @ceramicasuro to make my project of 2d grid paintings into a 3d installation piece, ... religion is out for me, but there is something to be explored in these levels and states of consciousness that I'm trying to convey in the work that I make.. this will be a work that needs a permanent installation of roughly 4ft x 6ft (about 1.21 x 1.82 meters) . I have hopes the grid paintings create a transformative effect of an inner listening that prioritises wonder... it was such a pleasure making with gorgeous ceramic tiles and wonderful colours.. I think there is good potential here 🤞🏽 (I really liked how these tiles at @ceramicasuro absorbed the ceramic paints and the colours I was able to get my hands on were so satisfying for my painters brain) thank you for looking, I will share finished images of the works at a later date 🥰🥰 #artist
Time to share my good news: I have a two week resi Time to share my good news: I have a two week residency at @ceramicasuro in Guadalajara Mexico. I am over the moon (🌕) and have been intently happily pouring my energy and consciousness into my art projects. This residency means many things to my heart and very happy to be here making my art inside this special place. I have met many kind and talented creative people and artists here at Ceramica Suro and feel welcome here 🥰 muchas gracias
